Summit: The Summit is the leading global cross-border conference for venture capital and private equity investors focusing on the complete financing chain of private technology companies, from initial venture capital investment through IPO and M&A.
Where: Historic Hotel Château Frontenac in Quebec City, Canada.
When: One day event, beginning at 5:00 pm on Monday October 27 and ending at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, October 28.
For whom: The Summit is an invitation-only event for senior members of this international investment community from Canada, US, UK, Europe, Asia, Israel and South America. The 2008 Summit is expected to attract over 350 participants, having under management over a trillion dollars. Service providers are not invited.

The Summit comprises three optional by invitation-only side conferences intended for specific purposes that are held BEFORE the Summit on Monday, October 27:
When: Monday, October 27 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Purpose: Bringing together international government officials and global leaders to exchange views on developing a buoyant venture capital and private equity ecosystem.
This forum is the result of a partnership between the Government of Canada and the Summit.
When: Monday, October 27 from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm
Purpose: Bringing together leading LPs to exchange views on important issues in their industry.
When: Monday, October 27 from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm
Purpose: Bringing together up-and-comers in the venture capital industry to participate in education sessions and to network and share knowledge with peers and leaders of major venture funds.
